QUITMAN - Eat a cookie, save a life.

That's the case in Quitman.

A bake sale this Saturday will benefit Lynn Edmondson, who is in desperate need of a lung transplant.

The live-saving surgery doesn't come cheap and the family is appealing to the community for help.

"The funds will go towards the medications my wife needs. The medications run about $5 thousand a month and the surgery is very expensive Give from the heart. Every penny counts," says Lynn's husband James.

The bake sale will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday in the Family Dollar parking lot in Quitman.
