The Bandana Bandit stuck up another East Albany store Thursday morning, putting his gun to an employee's head.

Albany Police think this is the seventh armed robbery by the same gunman who wears a bandana over his face.

About 8:30 AM he robbed the Dollar General on East Ogelthorpe.

Police say in the previous robberies, the robber calmly demanded and gave the clerks a bag to put the money in.

But this time surrounded by customers and employees, victims say the robber was very frightening.

Dollar General Lead Clerk Jermaine Dupree said  "He was about 6-1, wearing all black and a red bandana. He used profanity and said give up all the money. So he put the gun to her head, and told her to give up the money. At gunpoint, we couldn't do nothing. We all paused, froze right then. "

Investigators say these armed robberies started Father's Day.  At first the gunman was striking at night on the weekends. Police say Wednesday he changed his pattern, robbing the Holiday Inn early in the morning, and again Thursday morning at the Dollar General.

Investigators want to talk to the man in this video. They call him a person of interest. He was seen inside the Express Lane at Gillionville and Lockett Station Roads shortly before it was robbed June 15th. If you recognize this man, Call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
