Albany - You have to wonder if Georgia's men's basketball coach Dennis Felton is thinking where he would be now if his Bulldogs had not staged that miraculous run to the Southeastern Conference basketball title.
Felton might be unemployed this summer had his Bulldogs not pulled off that impossible feat of winning four games in three days.
The SEC tournament championship though was the moment the Georgia basketball coach had been waiting for since he was hired to pick up the pieces left in the Jim Harrick scandal.
The Georgia basketball team has finally turned the corner.
The future for the Bulldogs program looks bright and Felton can relax with job security and a new contract.
Felton is also excited his Bulldogs will return eight players from their SEC tournament team and bring in an outstanding recruiting class.
Dennis Felton said "It is a big shot in the arm for what we are doing. We have had a tremendous spring and summer so far. Guys have been really, really motivated and fired up. Looking forward to next season and wanting some more."
Georgia is just the third team to win the SEC tournament having won four games.
