ALBANY, GA (WALB) - The Hardee's in East Albany was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, and police are trying to determine if the same gunman is involved in a string of five armed robberies that started Father's Day weekend.

Just after ten Saturday night a man with a gun, wearing a red bandana over his face, demanded money from the register be placed in a plastic bag he gave employees. Then he ran.

Investigators say five armed robberies in the last month have similarities.  The robber always disguises himself with a red bandana, is very calm and deliberate, and always demands money from the register be placed in a bag.

Police are asking you to take a look at this surveillance video of a man they call a person of interest they want to talk to about these armed robberies. This is video taken June 15th at the Express Lane Chevron at Gillionville and Lockett Station Roads, just a couple of hours before that store was robbed.

If you recognize this man, police want to hear from you. Call CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
