ALBANY, GA (WALB) - An Albany Code Enforcement officer, charged with falsifying paperwork, has resigned.

Thirty-nine year old Travious Trent was arrested earlier this month after a citizen complained that Trent made sexual comments to him while on the job as an inspector.

A Sheriff's Investigation showed Trent spent several hours a day in his city pickup truck, down by the river. And an undercover officer says Trent made sexual comments to him, too. Trent was given the choice of resigning or being fired. He quit last Friday.
