Albany - Auburn football fans have big expectations from their Tigers in the 2008 season.
Auburn offensive line coach Hugh Nall, one of the best in the college game, making his annual trip to Albany to give local Tiger fans a scouting report on the 2008 season.
Like fans, Nall says he too is excited about the potential for Auburn football this fall.
What has everyone excited is a new defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads and a new spread offense with Tony Franklin now working as Auburn's offensive coordinator.
Nall says fans think the spread attack is all passing but Auburn will still look to pound opponents with their ground attack.
Hugh Nall said "I think the big excitement is the new offense and a new defensive coordinator. The defense won't change a lot. The offense will change a lot by appearance. We will be more of a throwing team but we will still run the football."
Auburn opens the 2008 season on August 30th at home against Louisiana-Monroe.
