Blazers open 2008 season on national television

Valdosta - Valdosta State plays the first college football game in the nation in 2008 when the defending  Division II national champion Blazers host Fort Valley State on August 23rd.

Valdosta State announcing today the Fort Valley State game will be televised by CBS Sports Channel.

The game will start at 8:00 p.m. on August 23rd.

It is the first of three televised games for Valdosta State this season.

The other two are against Delta State on October 2nd and on October 30th against West Georgia.
