ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Children from Albany visited Jerusalem Tuesday. It's part of Vacation Bible School at Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Kids learned about different types of trades that people were involved in back in the time when Jesus was alive. They set up a Jerusalem marketplace where they learned about carpentry, baking and weaving. Adults hope it will bring the bible alive... kids just think it's cool. Jake McMillan said, "It's fun." Music Director Chet Dreschel said, "they're really learning what life was like back in those times when Jesus was alive."
Vacation Bible School runs through Friday.
