ALBANY, GA (WALB) - Brandon Anthony shot a 3-under par 68 at Flint River Golf Course Saturday in the Albany Amateur Golf Championship, and holds an eight shot lead going into the final round.
Anthony was the only golfer under par on Saturday.
Deerfield-Windsor baseball coach Rod Murray is in 2nd place
Lee County senior Nate Gahman is 9 shots off the pace in third.
Sherwood Christian's Kelly Pearce made up a six-stroke deficit to overtake 1st round leader Debbie DeVane in the women's championship flight Saturday at Flint River.
Pearce fired a 78 in the 2nd round, and her two-day total of 159 is one shot ahead of DeVane.
Tom Hall leads the men's senior championship flight by two strokes.
