CAMILLA, GA (WALB) - The commander of the Southwest Georgia Drug Task Force resigned this week.
The drug task force serves Mitchell, Grady, and Baker counties. Commander Keith Newman resigned for personal reasons.
District Attorney Joe Mulholland says the policy and review board for the unit will meet next week to discuss their options. Mulholland says agents on the task force will continue to fight the war on drugs.
