ALBANY, GA (WALB) - A crash on busy Highway 82 West of Albany snarled lunchtime traffic today. A car and a truck, headed west, crashed when the woman in the car apparently pulled into the truck's lane.

The wreck happened near Ledo Road. The car spun around and ended up in the east bound lanes of traffic. The driver, Teresa Day of Tifton and her daughter Shannon were taken to the hospital. Serence Mitchell, was driving the pickup truck. He and his passenger Janean Wiggins were also taken the the hospital. All are okay and are expected to be released Friday afternoon.

Eastbound traffic came to a complete stop while workers hurried to clean up the highway. TFC Andrew McKenzie said, "As fast as possible so we don't have another crash." Teresa Day was charged with improper lane change.
