LEE COUNTY, GA (WALB) - The Lee County Sheriff's office is working to keep kids safe.
This is child safety week and Friday at Walmart in Lee County, Sheriff's deputies handed out information about car seat safety and even finger printed kids for ID packets.
"We're doing fingerprints so parents can keep up with their kids if anything ever happens to them," said Sheriff Harold Breeden. Joanna Bell said, "I think this is wonderful. Every parent should do this for their child."
If you weren't able to make it to safety day, you can always call the Lee County Sheriff's Office and make an appointment for a deputy to inspect your child's car seat.
