Homerville - The FBI spent more than five hours raiding the office of a Homerville Attorney.

They showed up at the office of Berrien Sutton before noon Wednesday.

The FBI won't comment on why they were there or what they were looking for.

Berrien Sutton is the state court judge and juvenile court judge in Clinch County who faced several misconduct charges by the Judicial Qualifications Commission.

Those charges were dropped when Sutton announced he would retire June 30th.

He will still practice law.

Sutton's attorney, Tom Withers, will not comment on the raid either.
