Americus -- The Georgia SouthWestern University softball team announced the signing of nine players to its incoming class.
The signees are: Gabby Buck (Fairburn), Heather Denny (Gainesville), Anna Dankewich (Cumming), Jessica Martin (Canton), Katie Wooten (Monroe), Jessica Harris (Buena Vista), Brooke McLemore (Fortson), Rachel Thomas (Carrollton) and K.T. Tolbert (Jefferson).
All nine players hail from the state of Georgia.
The Lady Canes are entering their third year of play at the NCAA Division II level, and finished the 2008 season 19-29, an eight win improvement from the year before.
