A 22-year old man was trapped in his truck after a train slammed into it this morning... But amazingly he wasn't seriously hurt.

Michael Puckett was driving west on Alberson Road in northern Turner County when he was struck by a Norfolk Southern train.

The train dragged Puckett's truck 85-feet.

It flipped over, and Puckett was trapped.

Turner County E-M-S had to cut him out.

Puckett was alert at the scene.

He treated at Crisp Regional Hospital and released.

That railroad crossing isn't heavily travelled, and there are no crossing gates or warning lights there.
