Thomasville--  The Lapham-Patterson house, a popular historical site in Thomasville and a national landmark, hosted the event.

Girls aged 9 to 13 got lessons in how to be a Victorian young lady.  Sheryl Walters, Curator at the Lapham-Patterson House said, "Take all the gadgets and the battery powered things away from the kids and its amazing their imaginations and what they can come up with."

Girls learned how to make flower arrangements and fruit plates and played some old fashioned parlor games too.
