Moss Farms hosts diving competition

June 14, 2008

Moultrie -- Moss Farms in Moultrie was home to the Junior Region Seven diving championships Saturday.

A dozen clubs teams from all over the southeast competed in the event.

Moss Farms' Kelsey Goodman won the girls 16-18 one-meter competition with a score of 382.35.

Teammate Ann-Perry Blank was fifth, and Carly Moore tenth.

The Tigers' Owen Blank is headed to Georgia to dive for the Bulldogs this year.

Blank placed second in the boys three meter, and third overall, and says it was a good event.

"We had some pretty strong competitors from other teams come up," says Blank. "I took third place. I'm pretty happy with that. Henry Norman, also from Moss Farms turned in a pretty good meet, so we're pretty happy with it."

The Zone-D championships will be held July 10th through the 13th at Moss Farms.
