Albany -- Hundreds of South Georgia men made their health a priority Saturday morning. More than 700 people attended Phoebe's seventh annual Men's Health Conference.

Free cholesterol, diabetes, and blood pressure screenings were conducted. And doctors say its important to have them done because problems in these areas can be hard to detect otherwise.

"You see people dropping dead all the time of heart attack. It's very important. Colon cancer is very silent. Prostate cancer, most cancers are silent killers. So its very important even with diabetes," said Dr. Rex Ajayi.

Several seminars were also held through out the day on heart, bone and prostate health, but this year's conference focused on sexual health.
