Tift County -- One woman was killed, and a man was injured in a car crash in Tift County.
21-year-old Danielle Nicole Dowdy was heading East on Wiley Branch Road around 4:00 PM Thursday afternoon when she lost control of her Ford Explorer.
The SUV flipped, and Dowdy was partially ejected. Her passenger, Michael Anderson, was transported to Tift Regional where he was treated and released.
State troopers say Dowdy was not wearing a seat belt.
