Albany - If you want to vote in next month's primary, you better make sure you're registered to vote soon. June 16th is the deadline to register. That means you only have three more days to become eligible.
You can register at your local elections office or pick up a registration form from any library.
Dougherty County Elections Supervisor Carolyn Hatcher says in just two weeks, 144 people registered to vote here. She hopes that means lots of people are planning to head to the polls July 15th.
"This year we've got so much on the ballot that locally affects us in Dougherty County that we certainly hope we're going to have a big turnout," says Hatcher.
If you send a registration form by mail, it must be postmarked by the 16th in order for you to vote July 15th.
