Albany-- A candidate for Dougherty County District Attorney now has his own space to spread his campaign message.
Current Chief Assistant DA Greg Edwards officially opened his campaign headquarters on Pine Avenue Tuesday afternoon joined by family, friends and supporters.
Edwards has three main issues he wants to tackle if elected.
"One, work on preventing crime. We want to effectively intervene with crime and we want to work on restorative justice in order to make sure that people don't re-offend. Those are the three things in my platform and what I want voters to know," said Edwards.
Edwards is running against Public Defender Ingrid Driskell.
