Athens - The Georgia baseball team is becoming very familiar with Omaha, Nebraska.
The Bulldogs are heading to their third College World Series appearance in the last five years and their fourth in the last eight seasons.
So many trips to Omaha means the Georgia baseball team isn't just satisfied with making it to the College World Series.
The Bulldogs want to bring back the school's second national title in baseball.
It will not be easy.
The eighth seeded Georgia team opens against top seeded Miami and will face Hurricane ace Chris Hernandez.
The freshman is 11-0 this season.
Georgia coach David Perno said "From that standpoint it is never fun from seeing who you have got to face. The opportunity is great. Hopefully we will step up."
Georgia shortstop Gordon Beckham said "It is not going to be an easy task. Miami is a great team. I know a couple of those guys on that team. They are good guys but hopefully we can pull out a win against them."
Georgia leaves for Omaha Wednesday night and their game with the Hurricanes in Saturday night at 7:00 p.m..
