Valdosta - Now you can do home renovations and help the community at the same time.

From bathtubs to sofas, Habitat for Humanity in Valdosta says its ReStore is stocked.

They sell old items that were donated or collected as well as overstock from area warehouses.

These items are all sold back to the community and the money goes back to Habitat.

"It also keeps the landfill clear and enables us to take the money, where they are buying something cheap but helps us build a habitat home with the proceeds," says Bill Ray, ReStore Manager.

They estimate the money from the ReStore helps build an extra three homes a year.

The store is open Thursday through Saturday.
