Albany - People in their golden years displayed shades of Gold today at the Albany Museum of Art. This is the 15th year Sowega Council on Aging members have exhibited their artwork at the Museum.
Carole Gum teaches the class and says it gives senior citizens an outlet. She said, "I've had some tell me actually I've saved their life because they have something to look forward to each Monday."
The class is free. The young-at-heart artists only have to pay for their supplies.
