Homerville - A trial date is set for the Associate Magistrate Judge in Clinch County as a federal investigation of the Alapaha Judicial Circuit continues.
Linda Peterson pleaded not guilty in March to federal charges of perjury and conspiracy to commit extortion.
The FBI accused her of lying to investigators when questioned about suggesting her father act as a bondsman for a fee which would go toward her home renovations.
She's also accused of suggesting someone pay money to avoid arrest and incarceration.
Jury selection is set to start July 7th in Valdosta Federal Court.
