Burger King burglars caught on camera

June 4, 2008

Albany -- Investigators with the Albany Police Department are asking for the publics help in identifying two men wanted for aggravated assault and burglary. Surveillance cameras were rolling at the Burger King on Dawson Road last week just moments before the suspects entered the restaurant.

There were six employees inside the Burger King on the night of May 28th when two men, one of them armed with a gun, entered the restaurant. Employees pulled the fire alarm and were able to exit through a back door. The alarm also sent the suspects running and possibly thwarted an armed robbery.

Surveillance video shows the two suspects attempting to enter the Burger King at closing time. The first suspect is described is a black male, 5'10 about 160-165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage shirt, camouflage pants, a brown ski mask and was also carrying a weapon. The second suspect is described as a black male 6'0-6'2, 150-160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red ski mask, lime green shirt and camouflage shorts.

If you have any information about these suspects you're asked to call crime stoppers at 229-436-TIPS or the Albany Police.
