Royal Air Force visits Moody

June 3, 2008

Valdosta - Two members from the Royal Air Force in England visited the 820th Security Force Group at Moody Air Force Base.

Flight Lieutenant Dave Martin and Wing Commander Tom Sawyer are members of a RAF regiment that performs similar missions to the 820th.

That Moody unit provides security to military bases and convoys overseas.

Their week exchange program provided an opportunity for the RAF officers to learn about the 820th's missions and in turn, provide insight on the way they operate across the pond.
