Albany -- An Albany man whose store was shut down by City Commissioners last week is now in jail for robbery.

22 year old Demarkco Malone was arrested Monday night by Albany Police, and charged with aggravated battery and robbery by force. Police have not been able to provide many details about his arrest.

Malone's business license was revoked Friday by the City Commission, after Drug unit agents found alcohol and drugs being sold in his store at 715 South Madison.

People in the neighborhood complained about the drug traffic in their community.
