A south Georgia deputy is on the wrong side of the jailhouse bars.
Baker County Deputy Chad Smith is in the Dougherty County Jail charged with extortion. We don't know details of the case against him yet.
We do know Smith was arrested Monday, it's a federal case and he's scheduled to make a first court appearance on Tuesday.
