Albany-  Albany Police stop a man walking in the middle of a northwest Albany street to find he's wanted in California for selling dangerous drugs.

A patrol officer first stopped 38 year old Tarek Posey just after 4:00 a.m. Friday in the 400 block of North Westover Boulevard because Posey was walking in the northbound lane.

When they checked his information they learned he was wanted on a warrant in California from January of 2007 for dangerous drugs.

Posey was taken to the Dougherty County Jail.
