Moultrie- The State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team shut down a portion of a Colquitt County Highway where three people were killed Monday night.
They even had the wrecked cars towed out to Highway 133 five miles north of Moultrie and positioned on the highway to learn more about the crash.
Troopers say, Michael Burdette drove his Ford Ranger across the center line around 11:30 Monday night and hit this white Ford station wagon with six people inside. Twenty-eight-year-old Christian Gonzalez, 31-year-old Valeria Carlson, and 8-year-old Uriel Carlson all of Norman Park were killed.
Troopers say the eight year old wasn't wearing a seat belt at all. In the front seat, Gonzalez and Carlson were wearing only an automatic shoulder harness and not the lap belt.
