Albany - Albany City commissioners deny an alcohol license and plan to yank the business license for a store busted three times this year for drugs and illegal alcohol sales.

When agents last raided Marco's Grocery on May 2nd, they found close to 30 grams of marijuana for sale behind the counter.

They also found alcohol for sale in the cooler despite two Cease and Desist alcohol sales letters issued by the state.

Wednesday night, City commissioners voted to deny the store an alcohol license. They also ordered a hearing for Friday morning to revoke the occupational tax license unless owner Demarkco Malone can convince them otherwise.
