Valdosta - Another win for Lowndes High School. But this time it's not your typical sport. It's about heifers and steers.

Who shows the best heifer? It's High School Junior Brittany Rigg. She's on the FFA Livestock team and brought home the big win from the Jamie Richards Memorial Prospect Steer and Heifer Show in Florida.

Jamie is now sporting the Champion Showmanship belt buckle in the Intermediate division.

She was honored for her ability to show off her 1400 pound heifer, Twilight.

Three other Lowndes students placed in other categories.

This is the first show season for the team.
