Echols County - New information Tuesday on that deadly triple shooting in Echols County.

There was apparently an ongoing feud between the neighbors involved.

67-year-old Billy Corbett opened fired in the yard between his house and the neighbors.

Chad Wiggins and 36-year old David Coody Jr. were killed.

A deputy, who had been called to the scene returned fire and killed Corbett.

"You've got a subject there that's shooting people in the deputy's presence and it possibly could have been worse. We don't know. It's hard to say what someone's thinking at that time," says Sheriff Randy Courson.

The deputy is on paid administrative leave until the investigation is complete.
