We are investigating a fatal collision near US 19 South, and Nelms Road in Dougherty County.
An elderly man driving on Nelms Road was apparently trying to cross US 19, and pulled into path of an Early County transit bus. The elderly man was killed.
Traffic is snarled in that area, so motorists should Avoid 19 south for the time being...
