Albany-  Evidence in the murder of a three year old Albany boy will be presented to a grand jury this week. Shondarius Roney was beaten to death in his South Albany home three weeks ago.

His mother's boyfriend, 18 year old Vincent Soilberry is accused of killing him. Prosecutors have subpoenaed WALB-TV's uncut interview with the child's mother, Shaquita Bell.

WALB-TV does not typically grant public access to raw video; however, in this case, the DA's office already has access to Shaquita Bell and there's nothing in our interview that they couldn't get themselves. Therefore, we determined that providing them with our video would NOT compromise our journalistic rights. Because we are making the material available to the D.A., we will also make it available to the general public.

The full interview can be viewed on this website, go to the news page and click on "Interview with murdered child's mother."
