Arlington -- Another target for metal thieves, and this time it's a dangerous one.

A South Georgia man is behind bars Saturday night after stealing spikes from a railroad track.

Arlington Police Chief, Casey Taylor, got a call about a suspicious person on the tracks at Cherry and Pioneer Roads at around 8:00 AM.

That's where they found 20-year-old Jawanis Jatae Thomas stealing the metal spikes off the Georgia Southwestern railroad tracks.

Thomas was arrested and is now facing theft charges.
