Darton cuts into Tyler lead

Phoenix, Az. - An early tee time has gotten Darton back into the hunt at the NJCAA national golf tournament.  

The Cavaliers teed off at 630 local time in Phoenix Wednesdayand posted the low round of the day with 297.

It moves the three time NJCAA champions into third place and are just nine shots back of Tyler at the halfway point.

Darton's Jin Chung shot a 71 and is 145 tied for fifth place overall.
