Valdosta - A Valdosta woman found guilty of wire fraud and theft will be re-sentenced.
Alma Williams was the executive director for the Eastside Training Academy, a non-profit organization that provided pre-kindergarten child care and infant daycare.
She was sentenced to 33-months in prison for personally spending $100,000 worth of federal grants meant for the organization.
An panel of judges denied her appeal but ruled the sentence was too harsh.
Williams' husband, former Valdosta City Councilman Bunnis Williams, was also charged but was acquitted in June 2006.
