Albany--You all probably heard about Dorothy going down the yellow brick road in the Wizard of Oz, but what if the story was set in Albany.

That was the case Saturday night at the Albany Municipal Auditorium in Dance Etcetera's presentation of Ease on Down the Road.

In the play Dorothy is an average American teen with dreams that are too big for her quiet suburban town of Albany Georgia.

Dorothy is sure her name belongs in lights, and tries to find her way into stardom.

"It's a spin off of The Wiz and little take outs of dream girls, it's just a big musical put together for a more modern day type feel," said Amber Johnson, Assistant Teacher.

Ease on Down the Road was written and directed by Lisa Love, who is a graduate of Albany State University.
