Albany - Deerfield-Winsdor's Shelby Cosby knew she wanted to attend Kennesaw State.
Now, she will also play soccer.
Cosby signed a scholarship with the Division I Owls program Thursday.
Shelby Cosby is a five year starter at Deerfield-Windsor and has scored 70 goals so far in her career and 27 in her senior season that she hopes has three more games remaining.
Shelby Cosby said "It is the next step of competition. I am ready to play for them. It is exciting."
Deerfield-Windsor Lady Knights soccer team hosts Stratford in the second round of the GISA playoffs Saturday at one o'clock.
