Albany - The Darton golf season is nine months long but for the three time national junior college champions their season is ready next week in Phoenix.
That is where the Cavaliers will shoot for a fourth straight national title.
Darton appears to be heading to Arizona playing their best golf tournament.
The Cavaliers have won three straight tournaments including the region title last week.
Their winning streak has been noticed nationally with the Cavaliers moving back to number one in the final junior college poll of the season.
Head coach Dale Dover knows his young team has improved over the spring but they are going to have get even better to bring home national title number four.
Dale Dover said "We have got to come up with some better numbers than we have shot in the last few months. I think that maybe they are capable of doing that if we go out and relax and play their game."
Coleman Calhoun said "This is what we have been working for all year. It is finally here. I think we are all ready to get the job done."
Darton sophomore Mike Smith signed a golf scholarship with Mercer University on Tuesday.
The Bears signed another former Darton player Bill Jones last year.
