Albany - Monroe coach Charles Truitt and his Tornado staff have a busy to do list this spring.
One of the big items on the spring agenda for Monroe is at quarterback where three year starter Sherman Stephens has graduated.
The Tornadoes also lost their top running backs and lineman David Noel who has signed with Georgia Southern.
Monroe still has plenty of talent like receiver Tim Jackson and the Tornadoes should be a contender again in region 1-AAA.
Charles Truitt said "We are hoping we have got some kids who can step up and fill slots. These two weeks give us an indication to find out who might be able to do it and those kids who may need to move around. It is good job for us coaches to evaulate talent and see what we have."
Monroe will open the 2008 season against Kendrick High.
