Valdosta - The well-known Hughston Clinic opened a new medical center in Valdosta.

The Clinic specializes in sports medicine, particularly the treatment for musculoskeletal injury and disease.

They new building is an all digital facility that features state of the art equipment and bigger rooms.

But they say it will help them strengthen the courses they teach with Valdosta State.

"It really gives the athletic training students a much more hands on experience and we have a doctor they can work with as well so we hope to enhance that educational experience," says Kurt Johnson, Orthopedic Surgeon.

The clinic relocated from it's old, smaller North Patterson Street address.

The new facility is located off North Valdosta Road.

It's one of nine locations in Georgia and Alabama.
