Albany -- A young Albany business owner is asking for your help to recover his equipment after thieves stole all the tools he needs for his livelihood.

22 year old Nester Carrillo has opened a lawn care business just three months ago. Overnight, someone stole his trailer and equipment, worth more than $7000. They were chained to a pole at his home on Dawson Road.

The thieves cut the chain, and stole a John Deere mower, a trailer, weed eater, edger, blower, push mower, and sprayer. Carrillo said "that's the reason so many are driven out of the business, because they can't seem to keep their tools safe. People stealing them, people wanting to take them. It's an unfortunate event that here in Albany, the Good Life City, we have to see these things."

If you have any information about this theft, call the Albany Police or CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS. You could earn a reward and help keep a young man in business.
