Douglas -- Heavy rains and hail couldn't stop the South Georgia College baseball team, but a three-run home run by Young Harris' Daniel Warzon in the bottom of the 10th would end the Tigers run 15-12 in the GJCAA championship game.

SGC's game with the Mountain Lions would be interupted by a delay of close to two hours Sunday, as rain and hail blanketed the area.

When the players were finally able to get back on the field, the Tigers scored five runs in the top of the 2nd inning, and took a 5-2 lead over the 5th ranked team in the nation.

South Georgia College led 12-8 headed into the 8th inning, but Young Harris scored 2 in the 8th and 2 in the 9th to tie the game, and Warzon's walk-off blast in the tenth won the tournament for Young Harris.

Josh Barrs was 2-5 with 5 RBI in a losing effort for the Tigers.
