Moultrie -- A Moultrie jury deadlocked after five hours of deliberation in the home invasion and murder trial of a Moultrie man.

Anthony Thompson was charged with felony murder, burglary and aggravated assault in a home invasion October 23, 2006.

22-year-old Diego Diaz-Gomez was shot and killed.

16-year-old Santos Perez was also shot in the leg but survived.

Co-defendants Tyrus Carter, Marcus Adrian Stevenson and Charles Kinsey were key witnesses.

The jury said they simply could not reach a unanimous decision.

Prosecutors haven't said if they'll retry Thompson.
