Jonesboro- Some great seasons came to an end on Friday for area tennis teams at the GHSA final four at International Tennis Complex in Clayton County.
Baconton Charter lost 3-0 to Athens Academy in the Class A boys semifinals.
It was the Blazers first trip to the semifinals in just their third season.
In AA, the number one ranked Thomasville girls lost to Walker 3-1.
A tough ending for the Lady Bulldogs who were unbeaten heading to the semifinals.
Valdosta and Lowndes both had troubles.
The Wildcats end with a 20-2 record after a 3-0 loss to Northview.
Etowah defeated Lowndes 3-0.
Vikings finish the season 19-3.
The Tift County girls plays Northview on Saturday in the AAAAA semifinals.
