Albany- Funeral services were held Wednesday for a three year old boy who was beaten to death.
Little Shondarius Roney was remembered at services in East Albany Wednesday afternoon. The child died of internal injuries last Friday. Police say his mother's boyfriend beat him to death. Family and friends remembered the little boys lively spirit.
"Shon was a very just a very cheerful young baby boy. he was very energetic. He was just a loving, loving just a loving little boy who wanted to enjoy life and he just enjoyed other kids and all of his family members," said Kenneth Frazier, a family friend.
The child was at home with 18 year old Vincent Soilberry when he died. Soilberry is in jail charged with murder.
