NBC--Mark Halloway, his sister Robin by his side, is making a donation to the American Cancer Society.

The first check for 350 dollars is only the beginning..the net proceeds from selling colorful shirts, bags, and towels online.

About a year and a half ago, Robin, 29 at the time, got sick. It was initially diagnosed as a stomach bug, but it lingered on for weeks. Finally, a diagnosis: leukemia.

Robin underwent chemo and a few months later she developed a life threatening infection and went into cardiac arrest. Mark thought they had lost her.

Robin is now in remission but has been left with kidney disease. Her positive attitude inspired her brother to start a company called "Flip It For Life."

In less than two months, Flip It For Life has attracted business from eight states.

Every dime made goes to cancer research.
